Detailed and Operational Responsibilities

Operation and Driving Management

  • Specialized Driving: Operate large capacity dump trucks for the efficient transport of aggregates, soil, rocks and other construction materials.
  • Logistics Handling: Ensure that the loading, transport and unloading of materials occur safely, mitigating the risk of spillage or cargo instability.
  • Operational Punctuality: Strictly comply with the schedules and routes established by supervision, ensuring that construction deadlines are not compromised.
  • Activity Record: Correctly fill out guides, weighing tickets and transport reports, ensuring the full traceability of operations.

Maintenance and Conservation of Assets

  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Carry out daily and thorough checks of the vehicle before the start of each shift, certifying the condition of tires, brakes, hydraulics and lights.
  • Equipment Preservation: Actively ensure the conservation, internal and external cleaning, and basic maintenance of the truck, reporting immediately any need for technical intervention.
  • Fuel Management: Monitor fuel consumption and supply in accordance with the company's efficiency and cost control policies.

Safety First: Safety and Compliance

  • Regulatory Compliance: Scrupulously respect occupational safety standards, as well as internal policies and the code of conduct road station.
  • Risk Communication: Immediately and clearly communicate any incident, mechanical breakdown, anomaly or potential risk situation to your superior.
  • Teamwork: Proactively cooperate with colleagues, heavy machinery operators and construction inspectors, performing other related tasks that are assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for professionals who combine technical dexterity with non-negotiable professional maturity. The ideal candidate has solid experience in driving heavy vehicles, preferably in mining environments or large civil engineering works.

Requirements Mandatory

  • Driving License: Professional heavy category driving license, valid and without prohibitive restrictions.
  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of effective and demonstrable experience as a Dump Truck Operator.
  • Nationality: Mozambican citizenship.
  • Age: Up to 45 years of age.
  • Availability: Total flexibility and immediate availability for relocation and residence in Moatize.

Differentiating Requirements (Advantageous)

  • Certification: Possession of a Truck Operator Certificate recognized by competent entities.
  • Mining Experience: Previous experience in large-scale mining or infrastructure projects in Tete Province.
