The EY Mozambique is hiring a Consulting Manager for Maputo, joining the Strategy and Transactionsteam. This is an opportunity for experienced professionals who want to take on a leadership role in projects with real impact on investment, growth, restructuring, and business transformation decisions, working closely with companies, investors, and international teams.
What this role involves
In practice, the role combines project leadership, financial analysis, and strategic support for clients facing complex challenges throughout the economic cycle. The selected professional will participate in and coordinate work related to due diligence, company valuation, financial modeling, feasibility studies, transaction support, and advisory on mergers and acquisitions.
Review and develop financial models for reports, forecasts, and decision-making;
Support clients in restructuring, divestment, and debt and equity raising processes;
Contribute to defining corporate strategies based on data analysis and financial evidence;
Prepare reports, technical documentation, and clear presentations for different stakeholders;
Coordinate teams and monitor project execution with a focus on deadlines, quality, and technical consistency.

MBA and Integrated Master's in Civil Engineering or related fields;
More than 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management;
Advanced spoken and written English;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams;
Strong organization, priority management, and autonomy in finding solutions;
Ability to lead teams, collaborate across different areas, and stay focused on results.
