The Graphic Designer Role

This is not a passive execution role. The Graphic Designer at Portador Diário is a central creative agent — someone who interprets the company's communication strategy and transforms it into visual pieces that capture attention, persuade, and convert. The work spans both digital and print, demanding creative versatility and technical precision simultaneously, within a production pace that requires focus and organization.

The position reports directly to the marketing and communications team, working closely with content managers, social media leads, and organizational leadership. Your creative voice will be heard — and your work will be seen by the public every day.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

Visual Production for the Digital Space

  • Create artwork forsocial media— Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms — with a refined aesthetic sensibility, results-driven orientation, and alignment with Mozambican market trends
  • Developdigital assetsfor marketing campaigns, newsletters, web banners, institutional presentations, and other online communication formats
  • Ensure that every digital piece meets the technical specifications of each platform — dimensions, resolution, file format, and text limits
  • Collaborate in the creation ofvisual content for paid campaigns, ensuring that assets are optimized for performance and conversion

Print Material Production

  • Develop high-quality printed materials —flyers, brochures, posters, physical banners, business cardsand various institutional pieces
  • Prepare and deliverprint-ready technical files(CMYK, bleed, minimum resolution of 300 DPI), meeting the requirements of partner print suppliers
  • Maintain organized version control and archives to streamline future revisions and asset reuse

Video Editing and Production

  • Edit and produceshort and medium-length videosfor social media, internal communications, and marketing campaigns — reels, animated stories, institutional videos, and promotional content
  • Work with basic motion graphics to enrich video content and boost the visual impact of publications
  • Ensure video content is optimized for each platform, adhering to the correct formats, durations, and technical specifications

Visual Identity and Branding

  • Ensureconsistent visual identityacross all brand touchpoints — digital, print, video, and internal communications
  • Apply and uphold thebrand bookand the organization's visual guidelines across all produced materials
  • Actively contribute to theevolution of the brand's visual language, proposing updates and improvements grounded in trends and performance data

  • Strong knowledge ofbranding, visual composition, typography, and color theoryapplied to real-world commercial contexts
  • In-depth familiarity with the specific requirements of design forsocial media, digital marketing, and print production
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure, andmeet deadlineswithout compromising final quality
