TechnipFMC is hiring an HR Officer I in Pemba for a full-time, on-site role focused on HR administration, support for people processes, and labor compliance. This opportunity is well suited to mid-level HR professionals looking to work in an operation with local and, in some cases, international exposure, supporting teams, systems, and routines that are critical to business continuity.

What this role involves

The day-to-day work in this position combines administrative tasks, data control, and direct support for core Human Resources processes. The successful candidate will support areas such as workforce planning, recruitment and selection, performance management, development, succession, and international mobility policies, where applicable.

  • Carry out HR administrative activities with accuracy and consistency.

  • Prepare consolidated Human Resources reports for the corporate structure.

  • Support employee relations processes when needed.

  • Ensure compliance with labor legislation and social security requirements in line with internal guidelines.

  • Maintain data integrity across HR systems and ensure personnel and payroll records are updated correctly.

  • Support workforce management, retention, and incentive policies where applicable.

Where this role makes an impact

This position has a direct impact on the organization and reliability of people processes. In addition to administrative support, there may be close collaboration with Operations on personnel logistics, including checking certifications, visas, or work permits, arranging travel and accommodation, tracking daily reports, and supporting team movements to remote locations where applicable.
