## About the Job TotalEnergies, a global leader in multi-energy, is looking for an HSSE Officer to join its team in Mozambique. This is a unique opportunity for safety, health, and environment professionals who want to make a difference in a high-risk industrial environment, contributing to safe and sustainable operations. ## Responsibilities - Implement and monitor HSSE policies, standards, and action plans across all facilities, ensuring compliance with internal and international regulations. - Coordinate incident and accident investigations, analyze root causes, and ensure the implementation of corrective actions. - Oversee environmental monitoring (energy, water, waste, fuels) and support the execution of environmental plans. - Support operational teams in risk assessments, audits, emergency planning, and safety compliance. - Promote a safety culture through training and awareness for employees, contractors, and transporters. ## Requirements - Higher education in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or equivalent fields. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial operations, preferably in oil and gas, chemical, or related sectors. - In-depth knowledge of HSSE standards and regulatory frameworks. - Experience in risk assessment and incident investigation. - Data analysis and report writing skills. - Proficiency in MS Office. - Communication and influencing skills, safety-first mindset, teamwork, autonomy, and problem-solving. - Languages: Fluent English and Portuguese (written and spoken). - Knowledge of fuel, chemical, or industrial operations environment. ## We Offer - Integration into a global company with a strong commitment to safety and sustainability. - Opportunity to work in a challenging and strategic environment in Mozambique. - Continuous professional development and career growth opportunities.
