Strategic and Day-to-Day Role Responsibilities

As a HVAC Construction Systems Engineer, your role will be multidimensional, ranging from detailed technical verification to the coordination of complex projects involving multiple disciplines. You will be responsible for ensuring that all air conditioning, ventilation and air conditioning systems for buildings and naval installations meet the highest design and construction standards.

Your main duties will include:

• Advanced Technical Management: Execute and supervise complex technical tasks assigned by the project specialist, including detailed studies, compliance checks and analyzes of technical alternatives.
• Critical Documentation Control: Be the guardian of engineering documentation for HVAC systems (building and naval), as well as other outsourced building systems. This includes controlling reviews, approvals and ensuring complete traceability of all technical documentation.
• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Act as the point of technical convergence, coordinating projects for other essential building systems such as electrical, telecommunications, detection and fire fighting systems. Your ability to articulate solutions between different specialties will be decisive.
• Solution Development: Prepare and control the fundamental calculation notes for the precise dimensioning of HVAC systems and other building systems, ensuring the efficiency and safety of the implemented solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Provide essential technical support in the verification and final approval of all HVAC projects and construction drawings, ensuring that every detail corresponds to the project requirements and the international standards.

This is a role that requires not only deep technical competence, but also exceptional communication and coordination skills. You will be at the center of a web of interactions with other project specialists and designers, directly influencing the final quality of the installations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a professional with a solid academic foundation and a proven track record in large-scale projects. Success in this role is anchored in a rigorous technical profile and the ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.

Mandatory Requirements

• Higher Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or closely related areas of study.
• Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct professional experience in the design, implementation or supervision of air conditioning systems (HVAC) for large buildings.
• Drawing Competence: Hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing technical and detailed construction drawings.
• Languages: Fluency in Portuguese (native or advanced level) and fluency in English (professional level, essential for technical documentation and international communication).

Valued Differentiators

• Professional certification as HVAC Designer (CHD - Certified HVAC Designer) or international equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of standards and international regulations applicable to HVAC systems in oil & gas projects or critical infrastructure.
• Previous experience in construction projects in the energy or industrial sector.
