CDM, part of the AB InBev group, is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for Maputo. This role is well suited to professionals with warehouse operations experience and a consistent focus on safety, productivity, and process compliance. The position combines operational supervision, stock control, and continuous improvement, with a direct impact on customer service levels and operational efficiency.
What the role involves
The main objective of this position is to implement and maintain AB InBev safety standards, ensuring an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse operation. On a day-to-day basis, the selected candidate will oversee the receipt, storage, picking, withdrawal, and dispatch of goods, ensuring deadlines are met, stock is controlled, and operations run smoothly.
Ensure compliance with 5S standards in and around warehouse operations, while tracking progress over time.
Ensure adherence to global policies and their proper application in the team’s daily routines.
Continuously validate SOPs through management routines and ensure all employees understand tools and processes such as OCL, SCL, and OWD.
Maintain SCL routines and monitor adherence levels.
Oversee warehouse safety practices, reinforcing team awareness and compliance with lockout measures and processes relevant to the role.

This position plays a direct role in operational stability. Beyond day-to-day warehouse control, the role is expected to drive continuous improvement through effective use of problem-solving tools and close monitoring of performance indicators.
Use meeting rooms and follow-up routines with a focus on tools such as 5 Why, Anomaly Reports, SIC, OPL, RACI, OWD, and PDCA.
Develop action plans that demonstrate improvement in PIs and KPIs.
Cascade KPIs and PIs to individual employees, align goals, and monitor results.
Ensure the creation and execution of best practices and approved projects, with clear evidence of improved results.
Ensure compliance with the warehouse layout, including areas such as emptying, rejection, order picking, and finished goods.
Profile that fits the role
CDM is looking for someone with a solid technical foundation and operational maturity to lead teams, maintain standards, and perform well under the pressure of a logistics environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Supply Chain, or similar fields.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt effectively to change.
Computer literacy.
