FDC — Foundation for Community Development — is recruiting 15 Logistics Officers (m/f) to support the Mass Distribution Campaign for Mosquito Nets under the Universal Coverage initiative, as part of the program to accelerate and strengthen the quality of malaria control interventions in Manica Province. The initiative is implemented in partnership with World Vision and funded by the Global Fund, with an expected duration of two months.
Openings and role overview
The selected professionals will support the campaign’s logistics component, ensuring operational organization, distribution support, and monitoring of field activities.
12 openings — one Logistics Officer for each district in Manica Province
3 openings — Logistics Officers for the provincial office in the city of Chimoio
This opportunity is well suited to candidates with upper secondary or mid-level technical training who are available for on-site work, frequent travel, and a demanding operational environment.
Key responsibilities
Support the logistical organization of the mosquito net distribution campaign
Provide operational support at district and provincial level, depending on placement
Monitor field activities and help maintain the smooth flow of materials and information
Work in coordination with the campaign’s implementing teams
Requirements and qualifications
Upper secondary or mid-level technical education
At least 2 years of experience in logistics within an NGO or similar organization will be considered an advantage
Practical knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
Availability to travel within the district and across Manica Province
