Responsibilities and Functions
As Medium Civil Construction Technician – Estimator, your main functions include:
- Prepare budgets and detailed technical proposals for public and private tenders;
- Perform measurements and survey quantities of materials, labor and equipment;
- Interpret architectural projects, structures and specialties, ensuring compliance with specifications;
- Research and negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors;
- Prepare physical-financial schedules using tools such as MS Project;
- Monitor the budget execution of works, proposing adjustments when necessary;
- Ensure that projects comply with local standards (municipal regulations, licensing and construction codes);
- Prepare activity reports and support the Technical Department in administrative tasks;
- Maintain confidentiality of company information and documents;
- Ensure the conservation of materials, equipment and facilities.
Profile and Requirements
We are looking for professionals with the following characteristics:
Training and Experience
- Middle Level in Civil Construction (mandatory);
- Minimum experience 1 year in the area of civil construction (preferred);
- Basic knowledge of standards and regulations applicable to construction.
Technical Skills
- Command with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and Word;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project (differentiating);
- Ability to interpret projects and measurements;
- Easy with numbers and budget detailing.
Attitudes and Behaviors
- Responsibility, organization and autonomy;
- Good communication and interpersonal relationships;
- Professionalism, dynamism and ability to problem-solve;
- Age between 20 and 30 years.
