The Office of the Attorney General announces the opening of a public recruitment competition to fill 2 vacancies in the category of Administrative Assistant (Archivists) within the institution’s staffing structure, for a period of 30 days, under paragraph 1 of article 34 of the General Statute of State Employees and Agents. This opportunity is intended for Mozambican citizens seeking to join the public service in a role connected to administrative support and document management.

Position and context

The position under recruitment is Administrative Assistant (Archivists), based at the Office of the Attorney General in Maputo. The role falls within administrative support functions, with a focus on the handling, organization, and preservation of documentation, contributing to the smooth operation of services.

Application requirements

Mozambican citizens may apply if they hold at least academic qualifications equivalent to the 2nd grade of primary level in the National Education System (SNE), or equivalent. Applicants should ensure that all required documentation is submitted in full and in line with the notice, in order to avoid disqualification at the admission stage.

Selection process

The selection process will take place in two stages:

  • CV assessment;

  • Professional interview.

The application for admission must be submitted by means of a formal request addressed to His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Office of the Attorney General, indicating the career track or category being applied for and bearing a signature notarized by a Notary. The request must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • Certified copy of the academic qualification certificate;

  • Detailed Curriculum Vitae;

  • Certified copy of the Identity Card or Birth Certificate;

  • Original Criminal Record Certificate;

  • Original military document;

  • Original medical certificate;

  • Certified copy of the Driving Licence, only for applicants to the heavy vehicle driver category;

  • Declaration on honor stating that the applicant has not been expelled from the State apparatus, with notarized recognition;

  • Copy of the NUIT card or declaration.

At the competition admission stage, submission of the documents referred to in items d), e), f), and g) is waived. Applications must be submitted to the Secretariat of the Office of the Attorney General. The lists of admitted and excluded candidates will be posted in the Secretariat lobby.
