Fórum Terra-Nampula is recruiting 02 Livelihoods Technicians to support income-generation initiatives, sustainable agriculture, and the strengthening of rural communities. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on field experience, the ability to work closely with producers and community groups, and a practical commitment to improving livelihoods, with special attention to young people and women.
What the role involves
On a day-to-day basis, the focus is on supporting the implementation of sustainable livelihoods activities and closely following their delivery within communities. The work combines field presence, direct contact with beneficiaries, and technical support in productive and organizational practices.
Support income-generating activities and the promotion of sustainable livelihoods;
Promote good agricultural practices and natural resource management;
Work directly with rural communities, with a focus on young people and women;
Support training, agricultural extension, and community organization activities;
Monitor progress of field activities and prepare regular reports;
Identify practical opportunities to improve community livelihoods.

Technical secondary qualification or bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Rural Development, Agricultural Economics, or related fields;
At least 2 years of experience in community-based or livelihoods projects;
Experience working with rural communities;
Basic knowledge of sustainable agricultural practices;
Strong communication and community mobilization skills;
Ability to work well in a team and a proactive attitude;
Willingness to live in the implementation district;
A motorcycle driving licence will be an advantage.
