Openings for (02) Logistics Drivers - Fórum Terra-Nampula

Fórum Terra-Nampula, a Mozambican civil society organization, is recruiting 2 Logistics Drivers to support the implementation of the MOZ Norte Project, funded by the World Bank. This is a hands-on and essential role for field operations, focused on safe transport, logistical support, and strict compliance with operating procedures.

Role overview

The Logistics Drivers will be responsible for ensuring the mobility of the team, partners, and project materials, with particular attention to safety, vehicle upkeep, and field logistics support. The role requires driving experience, knowledge of the local context, and willingness to live in the assigned district.

Key responsibilities

• Drive vehicles and motorcycles in support of project activities.

• Ensure the safe transport of staff, partners, and materials.

• Maintain cleanliness, upkeep, and basic maintenance of transport vehicles.

• Monitor fuel consumption and complete trip logs accurately.

• Support field logistics operations, including distribution of materials.

• Comply with road safety regulations and the organization’s internal policies.

Candidate requirements

• Minimum education level: 12th grade or equivalent.

• Valid professional driving license.

• At least 3 years of experience as a driver.

• Knowledge of local routes, especially Eráti and Memba.

• Basic mechanical knowledge.

• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professional conduct.

• Ability to work in a team and in rural settings.

• Willingness to live in the assigned district.
