Openings for (04) Skilled Workers (m/f)

The Office of the Attorney General, through the National Human Resources Service, hereby announces that a public recruitment competition is open for a period of 30 days to fill vacancies in its staffing structure for the categories of Mechanical Worker, Electrical Worker, Plumbing Worker, and Carpentry Worker, under paragraph 1 of article 34 of the General Statute of State Employees and Agents. The competition is open to Mozambican nationals who meet the requirements set out in this notice.

Vacancies and role overview

• Worker (Mechanical) — 1 vacancy

• Worker (Electrical) — 1 vacancy

• Worker (Plumbing) — 1 vacancy

• Worker (Carpentry) — 1 vacancy

For each of the above categories, applicants must hold at least academic qualifications equivalent to the 2nd level of primary education in the National Education System (SNE), or equivalent. These positions are intended for candidates with suitable preparation to perform technical and operational support duties in line with the specialty for which they apply.

Requirements and selection process

Mozambican citizens who meet the legal requirements for entry into the Public Administration and submit the required documentation may apply. Candidate selection will take place in two stages:

1. CV assessment

2. Professional interview

This process is designed to assess how well the candidate’s background matches the intended category, as well as their practical and professional readiness to perform the role.

Application and required documents

The application for admission to the competition must be submitted through a formal request addressed to His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Office of the Attorney General, clearly indicating the career path or category for which the candidate is applying and bearing a notarized signature.

The application must be accompanied by the following documents:

• Certified copy of the academic qualification certificate;

• Detailed Curriculum Vitae;

• Certified copy of the Identity Card or Birth Certificate;

• Original criminal record certificate;

• Original military document;

• Original medical certificate;

• Certified copy of the Driver’s Licence, where applicable to the required category;

• Declaration on honor stating that the applicant has not been expelled from the State apparatus, with notarization;

• Copy of the NUIT card or declaration.

At the admission stage of the competition, submission of the documents referred to in items d), e), f), and g) is waived.

Submission, publication, and validity

The documents must be submitted to the Secretariat of the Office of the Attorney General. The lists of admitted and excluded candidates will be posted in the Secretariat lobby for the attention of interested parties.
