Role overview

The trainer will be responsible for preparing and delivering theoretical and practical training sessions, ensuring the quality of the teaching process and compliance with the program defined by the institution. The role is based on-site in Maputo and requires availability for flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver theoretical and practical training sessions.

• Prepare lesson plans, training modules, and teaching materials aligned with institutional guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with the syllabus and academic calendar.

• Prepare, administer, and grade assessment tools.

• Produce pedagogical, assessment, and trainee follow-up reports.

• Ensure a clear, practical teaching methodology focused on learning outcomes.

Profile and requirements

• Proven professional experience in the relevant field.

• Higher education qualification compatible with the subject area to be taught.

• Clear communication skills and an appropriate teaching approach for a training environment.

• Availability for flexible working hours.

• Organization, proactivity, and institutional engagement.

• Proficiency in basic computer tools.

The following will be an advantage:

• Trainer certification.

• Previous experience in training or teaching.

• Knowledge of the vocational training system.

• Familiarity with technical and vocational teaching methodologies.
