Openings for (05) Heavy Vehicle Drivers (m/f)

The Office of the Attorney General announces that a 30-day public recruitment competition is now open to fill 5 vacancies in the category of Administrative Assistant (Heavy Vehicle Driver) for its staff establishment, under paragraph 1 of article 34 of the General Statute of State Employees and Agents. The competition is open to Mozambican citizens who meet the required criteria and wish to join the public service in an operational support role involving the driving of heavy vehicles.

Vacancies and application requirements

Mozambican citizens may apply if they hold at least educational qualifications equivalent to the 2nd grade of primary level in the National Education System (SNE), or equivalent. For this category, applicants must also provide documentation relevant to the role of heavy vehicle driver, in line with the requirements of the recruitment process.

Selection process

Candidates will be assessed in two stages: first through CV screening, followed by a professional interview. This process is intended to evaluate how well each candidate’s background matches the role’s requirements, as well as their practical ability to perform in a public service setting.

Required documents

The application for admission must be submitted by means of a written request addressed to His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Office of the Attorney General, clearly stating the career path or category applied for and bearing a notarized signature. The request must be accompanied by the following documents:

• Certified copy of academic qualifications certificate;

• Detailed Curriculum Vitae;

• Certified copy of Identity Card or Birth Certificate;

• Original Criminal Record Certificate;

• Original military document;

• Original medical certificate;

• Certified copy of Driving Licence, for candidates applying to the heavy vehicle driver category;

• Declaration on honour confirming that the applicant has not been expelled from the State apparatus, with notarized recognition;

• Copy of the NUIT card or declaration.

At the admission stage of the competition, submission of the documents referred to in items d), e), f) and g) is waived.

Application submission and publication

Documents must be submitted to the Secretariat of the Office of the Attorney General. The lists of admitted and excluded candidates will be posted in the lobby of the same Secretariat. Applicants are advised to check in advance that their file is compliant, the category is correctly identified, and all required documents are properly organized, in order to avoid disqualification on formal grounds.
