Openings for (10) Municipal Police Technicians (m/f)

The Municipal Council of Vila de Ulónguè announces that applications are open, for 30 days from the date of publication of this notice, for entry into the State Apparatus for the career path and category of Municipal Police Technician. The competition is intended to fill 10 vacancies in the staff establishment of the Municipality of Vila de Ulónguè, in accordance with the applicable legislation, namely Law No. 4/2022 of 11 February, Law No. 12/2023 of 25 August, and Ministerial Diploma No. 61/2000 of 5 July.

Role overview

This opportunity is intended for candidates seeking to join the Municipal Police and perform duties within local public administration, contributing to order, discipline, and support for municipal activities. The competition seeks candidates with the appropriate training, physical fitness, and legal requirements needed to perform the role.

Admission requirements

• Mozambican nationality.

• Birth certificate or certified copy of the Identity Card.

• Copy of the card or declaration of the Single Tax Identification Number (NUIT).

• Certificate of mental fitness and physical capacity compatible with the role to be performed in the Public Administration.

• Declaration, on one's honour, stating that the applicant is not in retirement status.

• Certified copy of the academic qualifications certificate, training, and internship in the Municipal Police career, pursuant to articles 16 and 17 of Decree No. 35/2006 of 6 December.

• Minimum height of 1.70 m for men and 1.65 m for women.

• Curriculum Vitae.

• Criminal record certificate.

• Military declaration.

Selection process

Candidate selection will be carried out through a physical aptitude test, written test, medical examination, and interview. These stages are intended to assess the candidate’s technical preparation, physical condition, and suitability for the requirements of the Municipal Police Technician career.

Application and document submission

The application for admission to the competition must be addressed to the Honourable President of the Municipal Council of Vila de Ulónguè by formal request. The template is posted on the notice board of the Municipal Council, in Francisco Manyanga neighbourhood, Avenida Inkosi Ya Makosi. Applications must be submitted to the General Secretariat of the Municipal Council of Vila de Ulónguè during normal office hours.

At the admission stage of the competition, submission of the documents referred to in points d), e), i), and j) is waived. The notice was issued in Ulónguè on 8 April 2026 and is valid until 08-05-2026. The document is signed by the President of the Municipality, Evaristo Pedro Fidelis.
