The Core Impact of Role

The People and Culture Technician is the pillar of support that allows the entire organization to function smoothly. Imagine being the trusted point of contact that employees turn to with their questions about policies, benefits or procedures. Imagine being the person who ensures that each employee's life cycle, from hiring to benefits management, is handled with meticulous attention to detail and in full compliance with Mozambican legislation.

This role requires a professional with a deep sense of responsibility and organization. You will be the guardian of individual processes, ensuring that records are impeccable and ready for any audit, internal or external. Your ability to coordinate learning activities and support the performance management cycle will have a direct effect on team productivity and satisfaction. It is a position that requires sensitivity, discretion and a wide range of technical skills.

Responsibilities that Define Your Daily Life

Our ideal for this role is someone who excels in practical execution and excellent operational support. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Fully support the recruitment processes, from the approval of the vacancy to the effective integration of the new team member. This includes preparing documentation, coordinating initial enrollments, and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Compliance and Labor Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for routine questions and complaints, assisting in resolving conflicts constructively. Establish and maintain links with external entities such as the Ministry of Labor and the INSS, ensuring that all statutory documentation is submitted in a timely and correct manner.
  • Information and Benefits Management: Maintain the integrity of employees' physical and electronic processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local legislation. Process registrations, changes and questions related to benefits, acting as an interface with suppliers.
  • Strategic Performance Support: Collaborate in the preparation of audits, support the performance management cycle (including the definition of objectives and evaluations) and promote learning and development activities that strengthen the team's skills.

The value you will bring is in your ability to resolve issues of moderate complexity autonomously, always with a proactive stance oriented towards the continuous improvement of People and Culture processes.
