6 openings are now available for entry into the N4 Teaching career track at the Vilankulo District Service of Education, Youth and Technology, in Inhambane Province. This public competition is intended for candidates with teacher training in mainstream education, under the terms set out in the notice issued by the Government of Vilankulo District. Applications must be submitted in person within the deadline stated in the notice, together with the required admission documents.

This competition is for entry into the State Administration in the N4 Teaching career track, with a total of 6 openings. Graduates from Teacher Training Institutes and ADPP may apply, provided they have training in mainstream education. Application requirements

To take part in the competition, applicants must meet the legal requirements for entry into public service. The following are required:

  • Mozambican nationality;

  • At least 18 years of age;

  • Mental fitness and physical capacity compatible with teaching duties;

  • Must not have been retired from or expelled from the State Administration.

At the time of application, the following documents must be submitted:

  • Full birth registration certificate or certified copy of the Identity Card;

  • Recognized academic qualification certificate;

  • Application letter for entry into the State Administration addressed to the District Administrator, notarized;

  • Declaration on honor, notarized;

  • Signed Curriculum Vitae;

  • NUIT.

The remaining supporting documents for eligibility requirements will be requested only from candidates approved in the competition.

Location, deadline, and procedure

Applications must be submitted in person at the Vilankulo District Service of Education, Youth and Technology. The submission period runs from April 7, 2026 to May 6, 2026, Monday to Friday, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Applicants are advised to submit their application with all documents organized and properly certified to avoid disqualification on formal grounds.

Selection criteria and validity of the competition

Candidates will be assessed based on two main criteria:

  • Written exam: 40%;

  • Certificate grade: 60%.

The lists of admitted and excluded candidates will be published at the Service and on its official website. That notice will also include the content, date, and location of the written exam. The competition will remain valid for 3 years, counted from the publication of the final ranking list in the Boletim da República. During that period, reserve candidates may be called to fill vacancies that arise within the staffing structure of the Vilankulo SDEJT, according to the established order of precedence.
