The Purpose of the Role
TheQuality Managerhas a core mission to ensure thatallQuality Control procedures and activities at the plant are executed with surgical precision — in full compliance with the documentedQA (Quality Assurance)procedures, adhering to the methods, frequency, and standards defined in the corporate manuals.
This is not a passive supervisory role. It is an active leadership position, where the incumbent is responsible for building and sustaining a culture of quality that permeates every level of the operation — from the brewery to packaging, from the laboratory to the factory floor.
The impact of this role is direct and measurable: products that reach the end consumer with the quality the brand demands, teams that understand and embrace those standards, and a quality management system that continuously evolves to meet the challenges of an increasingly demanding market.
Key Responsibilities and Functions
Safety, Health, and Environment
- Implement and ensure compliance with allsafety, health, and environmental proceduresapplicable to plant operations;
- Maintain the highest standards ofworkplace organization and safety, ensuring an operational environment that protects both people and processes;
- Proactively identify and report any environmental or safety risks and non-conformances.
Team Leadership and Development
- Develop team members under their responsibility by investing in continuous training and the professional growth of each individual on the team;
- Ensure apositive organizational climate, fostering healthy, respectful, and performance-driven working relationships that support collective success;
- Manage and implement thecompany's human resources practices, including performance evaluations, structured feedback, and individual development plans;
- Facilitateeffective team dynamics, creating the conditions for each team member to contribute their full potential;
- Keep theperformance management systemup to date and fully operational, ensuring that individual objectives are aligned with the plant's strategic goals.
Quality Control and Assurance
- Ensure that allquality standards are implementedand clearly understood by the entire operational team;
- Ensure that quality training is carried out in accordance with themethods and protocols specifiedin the QA manuals;
- Systematically verify the execution of procedures to ensurefull compliance with established standards;
- Ensure that allequipment is calibrated and functioningin accordance with the original technical specifications;
- Report any deviations to theBrewery Manager, Packaging Manager, and Factory Manager, initiating a process stoppage whenever necessary to protect product integrity;
- Continuously improveon-site quality compliance and management, actively reducing reputational risks for the brand and the company.
Operational and Administrative Management
- Fully comply with thevalue chain requirements, ensuring that the quality function supports and enhances the entire production chain;
- Manage theQuality Control (QC) administration, including records, reports, and technical documentation;
- Optimize theavailability of measuring equipment, ensuring that analysis tools are always operational and calibrated;
- Maintain and controlconsumable stock levelsfor the laboratory and quality control;
- Optimize thequality control management system, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and implementing effective solutions;
- Communicate clearly, in a structured and effective manner at all levels of the workplace — from the operational team to senior management;
- Achieve theVPO (Voyage to Preferred Outcomes) targetsand theQuality KPI and PI objectivesdefined for the site.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Strong knowledge ofprocess control in brewery and packaging environments, with the ability to interpret technical data and make well-informed decisions;
- Proficiency inManufacturing Excellence principles and practices, including continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent;
- In-depth knowledge ofCentral Laboratory practices, including chemical and microbiological analysis techniques applied to the beverage industry;
- High level of numerical literacy, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate quantitative data accurately and in a decision-oriented manner.
Behavioral and Leadership Skills
- Assertiveness— ability to communicate technical positions with clarity and confidence, even under pressure or in situations of disagreement;
- Proactiveness— anticipates problems, identifies solutions before deviations become incidents, and acts without waiting for explicit instructions;
- Proven leadership ability— real-world experience in managing and motivating teams in industrial environments, with measurable results;

Minimum Application Requirements
Academic Background
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiologyor an equivalent recognized field — solid technical training that supports an understanding of analytical and quality processes applied to the beverage industry.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of2 to 3 years of experiencein Laboratory, Brewery, or Packaging operations roles — direct experience demonstrating familiarity with industry processes, standards, and challenges;
- 3 to 6 months of on-the-job trainingwill be provided to ensure full integration into AB InBev's systems, processes, and quality culture.
