The CB Group is recruiting a Senior Human Resources Technician to join its team in Maputo. What the role involves

As a Senior HR Technician, you will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate recruitment and selection, including the final interview with sector leaders.

  • Ensure the management and monitoring of training and the 30-day structured onboarding program.

  • Keep employment insurance, Nominal List, INSS, IRPS and other legal documents updated.

  • Act as an agent of organizational culture and focal point in critical situations such as conflicts, management of crises and voluntary and involuntary departures.

  • Conduct and document Exit Interviews, with summary and action plan delivered to the Manager in ≤ 5 working days.

  • Maintain the physical and digital file organized, with continuous review every 45 days.

  • Prepare monthly effectiveness maps and monitor justified and unjustified absences.

  • Process salary, INSS, IRPS and other personnel charges, 100% within legal deadlines.

  • Support the Manager in supervising two HR interns, with a focus on consolidating their work standards.

  • Report weekly to the Manager in a standard report with 5 blocks: completed, pending, doubts, reported errors and next priorities.

Your day-to-day life will be marked by proximity to operational teams and the ability to anticipate needs. You will move around the units, observe and intervene in real time, ensuring that HR processes are aligned with the Group's strategy. Your preventive communication and procedural discipline will be fundamental to maintaining the Manager's trust and the team's efficiency.

What profile makes sense

We are looking for someone with a higher education degree in HR, Psychology, Administration, Management, Law or similar areas. Postgraduate degree or certification in HR is an advantage. It is essential to have at least 3 years' experience in operational HR, preferably in retail stores, supermarkets, logistics or industry. We also require:

  • Solid knowledge of Mozambican Labor Law.

  • Intermediate/advanced command of HR management tools and Excel.

  • Principles of personal data protection and confidentiality.

  • Good command of written and oral Portuguese.
