National Institute for Refugee Support (INAR, IP) — a reference institution in the national social protection system — invites committed professionals to join its team. We are recruiting a Servant to support the operations of the Project for Protection and Mixed Solutions for Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Mozambique, a strategic initiative implemented in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

This is a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the dignity and well-being of vulnerable populations, in a context of international cooperation with extremely high social impact. The work will be carried out in the City of Maputo, headquarters of national operations.

Context and Impact of the Project

This recruitment is part of an internationally funded multi-year project, with the central objective of strengthening capacity national response and integration of refugees and asylum seekers. Mandatory Application Requirements

1. Nationality: Being a Mozambican citizen.
2. Age: Being 18 years old or over.
3. Health: Presenting mental health and physical capacity compatible with the tasks to be performed, which will include moderate physical effort.
4. Pension Status: Not being retired or retired.
5. Military Status: Have regularized military status.
6. Qualifications: Have primary level educational qualifications.
7. Experience (Different): Having prior experience working with refugees and/or asylum seekers will be considered a significant advantage in the selection.

Submission and Selection Process

Location and Delivery Deadline

The complete admission application, with all documents listed, must be delivered in person at the INAR, IP headquarters, located at Rua da Frelimo, city of Maputo.

The deadline for submission is 30 days from the date of publication of the notice, expiring on 13 August 2026. Applications will not be accepted after this deadline or by other means.

Competition Dynamics

The selection process will be conducted in two sequential phases:

1. Documentary Assessment: A thorough analysis will be carried out on all documents submitted to verify compliance with the mandatory requirements.
2. Interview: Only candidates approved in the documentary phase will be called for an interview in person.

The final grade will be determined based on the criteria established by the INAR recruitment board.
