Applications are now open for appointment to the position of N4 Teacher in Jangamo District, under the order issued on 24 February 2026 by the Honourable District Administrator. The application period is 30 days, counted from the date the notice is published in the newspaper. This is an opportunity for candidates with psychopedagogical training who wish to join the Public Administration and take up teaching duties in schools across the district.

Role overview and available vacancies

This recruitment process is intended to fill three (3) immediate vacancies. In addition, further vacancies that arise within three years from the publication of the final list in the Boletim da República may also be filled. Selected candidates must be available to work at any school in Jangamo District, according to service needs.

Application requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old and below the age limit that would prevent completing at least 15 years of service before mandatory retirement.

  • Hold Mozambican nationality.

  • Have psychopedagogical training (10th grade + 1 year or equivalent).

  • Must not have been expelled from the State apparatus or retired.

  • Be in sound mental health and have physical capacity compatible with duties in the Public Administration.

  • Must not have been sentenced to a major prison term for crimes against State security, dishonourable offences, or any other crime incompatible with public service duties.

  • Be available to work at any educational institution within the district.

Required documents

At the time of application, the following documents must be submitted:

  • Application letter addressed to the District Administrator of Jangamo, notarized;

  • Candidate declaration on honour, notarized;

  • Certified copy of national ID or certified birth certificate;

  • Certified academic certificate;

  • Signed Curriculum Vitae with an updated date;

  • NUIT allocation document;

  • Documents proving household composition.

Shortlisted candidates must also present:

  • Criminal record certificate;

  • Medical certificate.

Selection will be based on the final score, calculated from 60% of the programme completion average and 40% of the written test. In the event of a tie, the provisions of paragraph a) of no. 2 of article 54 of Decree no. 65/98 of 3 December will apply.
