Role overview

This professional will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of logistics operations, ensuring transport activities run within agreed timelines, with reliable tracking, up-to-date records, and properly managed proof of delivery. This position is well suited to someone with prior operations or logistics experience who can work in an organised, agile, and accountable way.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor transport schedules and track the progress of operations.

• Coordinate sample collection and delivery activities with carriers.

• Ensure documentation and system records are updated accurately.

• Oversee the tracking and movement of samples throughout the process.

• Manage proof of delivery (POD) processes.

• Collect and consolidate operational data for KPI analysis and performance evaluation.

• Report emergency situations whenever necessary.

• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, ethics, and conduct standards.

Candidate profile

• Secondary school education.

• At least 2 years of proven experience in operations or logistics.

• Good computer skills.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet use.

• Strong report-writing skills.

• Proactive mindset, team spirit, agility, and creativity in solving day-to-day issues.

• Availability for flexible working hours, including weekends, and to respond to emergencies.

• Strong sense of responsibility and professional presentation.

• Residence in the province of application will be considered an advantage.

Languages and job conditions
