You will assume leadership of the Card Operations team, with the central mission of ensuring that all solutions delivered are efficient, digitalized and aligned with the highest market expectations. Main Areas of Responsibility

Success in this role will be measured by its transversal impact on several critical fronts of the business. Your leadership will be assessed by your ability to deliver tangible results in the following areas:

Customer Centricity and Operational Efficiency

  • Design and implement proactive operational strategies that drive business stability and growth, ensuring the fulfillment of the most ambitious commercial objectives.
  • Perform in-depth analyzes to identify, diagnose and propose systematic solutions that continually improve business performance. efficiency and end user experience.
  • Masterfully coordinate the management and implementation of projects, from conception to delivery, ensuring that objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Act as a product specialist, collaborating fluidly with other card managers and key stakeholders in the areas of Business, Technology and Operations.
  • Perform rigorous financial analysis to identify and resolve revenue leakages, ensuring the maximization of card portfolio profitability.
  • Actively participate in reviewing and recommending procedures, redesigning processes and coordinating system conversions from an operational perspective.
  • Keep the Head of Unit and other interested parties permanently informed about the progress, problems and risks of projects, promoting a culture of transparency.
  • Ensure the existence of a solid control environment through a clear understanding of the organization's management control and risk management approaches.

Distribution and Performance Management

  • Develop and agree Clear and binding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the back office and mid-office teams.
  • Implement an effective measurement framework, with tools that allow continuous tracking and monitoring of operational performance.
  • Ensure that measurement tools are published and distributed to all relevant stakeholders, promoting accountability for results.

Budget Management, Incentives and Risk

  • Together with the Information Technology area, develop performance indicators for initiatives cost savings.
  • Design a back office incentive system that is ambitious, client-centric and measured in terms of risk.
  • Use insights and customer complaints to continuously improve the customer management strategy and overall customer service.
  • Develop strong, collaborative working relationships with the executive management team to drive strategy execution.

Risk Management, Compliance and Reporting

  • Effectively manage adherence to all governance and compliance policies, procedures and requirements.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the function's risk management control framework.
  • Review audit scopes defined by team managers and Internal Audit or Management Assurance departments before before work begins.
  • Monitor issue logs and audit findings to ensure appropriate resolution within agreed timeframes.
  • Complete required compliance attestations and ensure affected team members complete theirs.
  • Promote a culture of proactive compliance across the function.

Resource and Results Management Global

  • Plan the resource requirements for the business unit (including people, capital investment, operational expenses, systems and Strategic Investment), negotiate and ensure their allocation and delivery.
  • Agree goals and assume responsibility for achieving the unit's performance objectives in terms of employee satisfaction, customer experience and cost performance.

Training and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Advanced Diplomas in Business Studies, Commerce and Management or an equivalent field.
  • Proven experience, preferably in the banking or finance sector, with a focus on card operations, project management and process improvement.
  • A demonstrable track record of leadership teams and delivering results in environments of pressure and complexity.

Technical and Analytical Skills

  • Excellent understanding of card product life cycles and underlying operational systems.
  • Advanced ability to data analysis and complex problem solving.
  • In-depth knowledge of control, governance and management frameworks regulatory risks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on execution.
