CBE Southern Africa intends to hire an IT Technician, responsible for carrying out all activities related to information technology, managing and controlling software applications, ensuring their development and maintenance according to predefined objectives and parameters.

Responsibilities

Monitor the performance of computer applications;
Participate in the implementation of computer applications;
Ensure adequate conditions for the operation of computer applications;
Ensure the maintenance and upgrade of applications without disrupting normal activities;
Inform users about the need for maintenance or upgrade interventions on their PC software or hardware;
Analyze with users the functional processes and parameterization of operating systems, proposing recommendations for optimization;
Notify about the lack of application documentation in implementations and upgrades;
Channel change requests in computer applications for decision on internal development or request to suppliers;
Develop reports related to their activities;
Participate in training programs when called upon;
Control and ensure the correct use of equipment;
Provide training in their area of expertise;
Assist in the execution of maintenance plans for equipment, programs, computer networks, and operating systems;
Prepare, update, and maintain the technical documentation necessary for the operation and maintenance of computer networks;
Perform other tasks compatible with the requirements for the role;

Requirements

High School Technical Degree in IT
Minimum of three (3) years of solid experience in corporate IT
Ability to interact with internal and external clients and report to them
Intermediate user-level computer skills. Proficiency in Excel and online tools will be an advantage
Fluency in Portuguese and English
