Civil Engineer Vacancy (Roads)

Nyeleti Engenharia, Lda., a Mozambican consulting company headquartered in Maputo, is recruiting two Civil Engineers (Roads) to work in Sofala Province. This is an opportunity for professionals with solid experience in road projects and the ability to monitor works with technical rigor, a focus on quality, and attention to applicable standards.

Role overview

The selected professionals will contribute to activities related to the supervision, construction, or rehabilitation of road infrastructure. The role requires strong technical expertise in civil engineering applied to roads, careful interpretation of project requirements, and close monitoring of on-site execution.

Main responsibilities and desired profile

• Ensure the technical monitoring of road projects.

• Work in supervision, construction, or rehabilitation contexts for road infrastructure.

• Apply relevant technical standards and support quality control processes.

• Contribute to the proper execution of field activities, with attention to the required technical standards.

For this vacancy, the company is seeking candidates with the following profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in road projects.

• Proven experience in the supervision, construction, or rehabilitation of road infrastructure.

• Knowledge of applicable technical standards and quality control.

• Availability to work on-site in Sofala Province.

Location and work model

The position is based in Sofala, on an on-site basis, and is suitable for professionals available to work locally and support the project’s operational needs.
