The essentials: Information Technology Officers (code OTI, 6 positions) for Maputo, Sofala, Tete, Nampula, and Cabo Delgado, full-time, with Fundação Ariel Glaser. Applications due by October 23, 2026, with cover letter, CV, and certificates in Portuguese — submitted by hand at the Foundation's offices in Maputo, Matola, or Pemba.
Fundação Ariel Glaser implements the FADM READY project in Mozambique, funded by the United States Government through its Department of War. The objective is to strengthen the country's military health systems in partnership with the Armed Defence Forces of Mozambique (FADM), focusing on institutional and operational capabilities that ensure the readiness and sustainability of military health services.
This advertisement covers six IT Officer positions distributed across five provinces: Maputo, Sofala, Tete, Nampula, and Cabo Delgado. Each Officer is assigned to one of the provinces, with travel across the priority districts of that area.
Your tasks focus on direct support for the project's day-to-day technology needs in each duty station you are assigned to. Provide technical support to users and assist in the maintenance of computers, networks, software, equipment, user accounts, and project systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring machines remain operational and users can work without unnecessary interruptions.
You will work in direct contact with military health teams and project partners. This means you need clear communication, must handle information with the same rigor in Maputo as in a unit in Cabo Delgado, and meet defined deadlines for each action.
You will work within a structure involving Fundação Ariel Glaser, FADM, and the donor's international teams. Your work is the technical backbone supporting the rest: when the network goes down, when a server needs maintenance, when a user cannot access an application — the solution begins with you.
If you enjoy solving concrete technical problems, maintaining a healthy fleet of equipment, and working in a team involving public institutions and international donors, this position is a great fit.
The role requires hands-on experience in hardware, software, networks, and operating systems, combined with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. The work spans multiple provinces, making willingness to travel a baseline requirement. The environment is multidisciplinary, with public partners and international donors, requiring clear communication and adherence to deadlines.
Send a cover letter, updated CV, and copies of relevant academic and/or professional certificates, all in Portuguese, by October 23, 2026, indicating in the subject line the vacancy code (OTI) and the province you are applying for. The Foundation accepts applications submitted by hand at its three official offices.
