Talentia SA is recruiting a Senior Sales and Marketing Manager for Maputo. This is an opportunity for a professional with strong commercial experience who can attract new clients, build long-term relationships, and manage the existing portfolio with a focus on growth, retention, and service quality.
What this role involves
The role combines prospecting, account management, and close client follow-up in day-to-day work. The selected professional will play an active role in business expansion, ensuring that every sales contact progresses consistently from opportunity identification through to service activation.
Prospect for and win new clients, with a focus on sustainable business growth;
Promote and sell the company’s plans and services, meeting established sales targets;
Manage and grow the client portfolio, strengthening loyalty and commercial relationships;
Generate and qualify leads, supporting the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts;
Provide consultative advice, identifying solutions suited to each client’s needs;
Oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting to service activation;
Ensure consistent service and long-lasting business relationships;
Support the handling of client complaints, questions, and requests;
Ensure accurate recording of commercial activities in internal systems.

At least 3 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably in the insurance and healthcare sectors;
Proven experience in client management and development;
Strong communication, negotiation, and professional relationship skills;
Ability to identify business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships;
Results-driven mindset, with initiative and resilience;
Balanced approach between strategic thinking and hands-on execution;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
