Your day at the mine

In the field, surveying work ensures the alignment and precision of the project at every stage of production. Your daily routine involves:

• Providing technical support to production in the field of surveying, monitoring excavation fronts, embankments, and mine infrastructure;
• Surveying and setting out on site, measuring axes, elevations, and excavation limits according to the project;
• Checking whether execution complies with technical project specifications, comparing as-built work against the design;
• Detecting deviations between actual work and the plan and reporting them in time — so engineering can correct course before an error becomes costly;
• Processing field data, producing mapping for the period, and keeping project surveying records up to date;
• Contributing to business results with reliable measurements that support moved volumes and production reports.

You are not alone: you will be part of the technical site team, in direct coordination with production and engineering.

You will be based in Moatize, in Tete province, right next to the mining operations that define the region. In projects of this scale, production dynamics mean that surveying supports different fronts of the same project, depending on the phase each one is in.
