Who we are looking for

We are looking for a driver with experience in heavy-duty driving who feels at home on a construction site. This is not routine open-road driving: the daily routine involves manoeuvring in site spaces, coordinated with construction teams, material suppliers, and the BRT project's safety routines.

If you have solid experience in heavy-duty driving and have already worked in civil construction or infrastructure projects, that is a strong differentiator for this role.

If heavy-duty driving is well covered but you have not yet worked on a construction site, apply anyway: CHICO values motivation and the ability to learn the logistics side of a large-scale project.

What matters most in selection is discipline: respect for deadlines, safety standards, and a multicultural team.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Drive trucks and heavy vehicles on the BRT project site, from material depots to work points assigned by site management.
• Receive and distribute construction materials, equipment, and supplies across the project's work fronts, following the build sequence set by site management.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (brakes, tyres, oil levels, lights, road documents) before leaving and log any anomalies with site management.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with the site foreman to minimise downtime for the construction team.
• Comply with site health and safety standards: PPE, signage, restricted areas, speed limits in the work zone.
• Participate in preventive vehicle maintenance and report faults to the maintenance team to avoid unplanned downtime.
• Follow site management instructions on traffic routes within the site and on adjacent public roads along the BRT alignment.
