Saipem, through Global Projects Services AG (GPS), is recruiting a Buildings Electrical Engineer for the Mozambique LNG project, based at the Afungi camp, Mozambique, in Cabo Delgado province.

The mission of the role is to execute technical tasks assigned by the Project Specialist Leader related to design, verification, or study activities. You will interface with other project specialists and drafters, coordinating technical activities executed internally or externally.
During the technology development, commercial support, and feasibility phases, your role is to provide technical support.
During the bidding and commercial proposal development phase, you will review, clarify, and qualify technical tender documents, and define the list of activities and deliverables according to the project schedule. You will identify technical issues, deviations, and alternatives to be submitted, applying bidding methodologies, design criteria, and guidelines.
In the same phase, you will support the proposal team with budget requests for commercial purposes, coordinate material quantity estimates, and assist the PSL in preparing engineering man-hour estimates as well as item and material costs. You will participate in client dialogue, including clarification meetings.
During the project execution phase, you will review documentation and client technical requirements and maintain project technical files. You will control subcontracted architectural engineering documents, both within and outside the SAIPEM group.
You will establish and perform assigned detailed design, verification, and study activities for any engineering subject associated with the discipline, pursuing design optimization goals in terms of cost, manufacturability, and safety.
You will prepare design specifications for building architectural works and cooperate in preparing design specifications for relevant civil works for buildings. You will develop functional building layouts and prepare material specifications and architectural building design.
You will support the TM/PSL in technical interfacing with the client and prepare MTOs and BOQs.
