It's a role where you coordinate teams — warehouse, sales, carriers — and it needs presence to guarantee customer service.
It fits someone who enjoys solving concrete problems, keeping service stable at a high pace, and turning metrics into corrective actions. It's not a closed-office job: it's operations work, with direct contact with the teams and with the customers in your base.
Success is measured in clear operational results: your customer base keeps the brands available, delivery deadlines are met, stock is reported reliably, and distribution costs improve over time. Someone who can coordinate teams that do not all report to them, and who handles numbers with rigour, does best in this role.
Day to day, you run the distribution operation for your base: making sure the brands and packs are available to the customers, applying FIFO in the customer warehouses, and reporting the stock levels accurately.
You plan and follow the daily operations — routes, fleet, deadlines and costs — and you coordinate the warehouse, sales and carrier teams so the execution runs without friction.
You work with the logistics performance metrics: you cross-check the numbers, propose actions that cut cost and raise the service level, draw the routes and optimise fleet utilisation. You ensure compliance with the health, safety and quality standards and you produce the operational reports and performance presentations that reach the management.
