A public recruitment competition is open in the health sector of Niassa Province with 2 vacancies in the Administrative Assistant career, in the Driver occupation. The competition was authorised by decree of 27 August 2026 from the Governor of the province and falls under article 34 of the General Statute of State Employees and Agents,
approved by Law No. 4/2022 of 11 February, read together with No. 1 of article 16 of the Recruitment and Selection Regulation for the State Apparatus. Those who enter get a 3-year contract.
The role's core is professional driving in the service of provincial public health; the career is Administrative Assistant and day-to-day tasks follow the unit where you are placed. For anyone who has driven for years and wants stability with a formal contract, this is a rare door to open in the public sector.
Your placement will be in a peripheral health unit of Niassa Province. In practice, this means putting your driving at the service of the primary care network: trips between the unit and support services,
typical tasks of the occupation when the function requires it, and daily contact with health teams that depend on a reliable driver for everything to work. Distances are real and the person who covers them for the institution is a fundamental piece of the health response.
The required qualifications are those corresponding to the occupation and level of the vacancy, according to the notice.
Since the competition is for entry into the state apparatus, the daily routine is defined at the unit where you are posted. What the notice already establishes:
The competition is aimed at those with the basic profile for entering the career: physical and mental capacity compatible with the activity in the Public Administration, a regularised personal situation and educational qualifications suited to the Driver occupation. We also want someone who understands that driving an institutional vehicle is a position of trust —
punctuality, care with the vehicle and respect for those travelling with you count as much as years on the road. It is that rigour that makes the difference between a mere driver and one a health unit depends on.
Entering the public service through the health sector teaches logistics in an environment where mistakes are costly: routes that may include dirt roads, fuel and maintenance management, delivery deadlines that affect care. Add the experience of working inside public institutions —
processes, hierarchies, documentation — which strengthens any future path, inside or outside the state. Drivers with years of institutional service become local references: it is a career with future doors in fleet and logistics roles in companies, NGOs and provincial projects.
Notices of this kind circulate mostly on paper and by word of mouth — and many good candidates miss out because they lose track of the deadline or hand in a badly prepared envelope. At Inademy you see the full notice, with deadline, delivery address and an organised document list, and you keep a profile that alerts you when new opportunities appear in your field and province.
Creating the profile is free and quick. From then on you no longer depend on luck to know that vacancies are open — the notice reaches you first, on your phone or e-mail.
