We are looking for someone for whom organizing an event is not just a date on the calendar, but a project with suppliers, a budget, a team, and a concrete result at the end. Do you enjoy coordinating, keeping everything moving even when many moving parts are in motion simultaneously, and making sure the event runs seamlessly? Then this role is for you.

It is a leadership position: you set the pace, you decide what to do when something strays from the plan, and you are accountable for the outcome. This is not a desk job — it is on the floor, in the hallway, alongside suppliers, right on schedule.

It requires genuine availability, as events happen on weekends and public holidays, which is precisely where true dedication shows. Candidates who have managed corporate events, conferences, or large-scale conventions, preferably within hospitality, will find a natural fit for their accumulated experience here.

What you will do day-to-day

• Organize, coordinate, and oversee events from start to finish, from schedule definition to on-site execution.
• Coordinate corporate events, conferences, conventions, and large-scale events at TURVISA units, ensuring every step meets what was planned.
• Manage suppliers, budgets, and internal teams, maintaining control over deadlines, costs, and quality across all fronts.
• Ensure operational oversight during events, solving any unexpected issues on the ground without the client noticing.
• Guarantee service quality and customer satisfaction at every stage, from initial preparation to final delivery and gathering participant feedback.

What the position offers

• Full-time, in-person contract in Maputo.
• Flexible hours, including presence on weekends and public holidays — the nature of events requires this, and applicants should expect this availability.
• Work at a Grupo Visabeira company on large-scale events where service reputation is on the line.
• Salary: to be agreed with the company (remuneration and benefits are not disclosed in the listing).
