Are you looking for engineering vacancies in the gas sector in Mozambique? Inademy brings you this opportunity: Sasol, an integrated international chemicals and energy company, is recruiting a Facilities Engineer II for its operations in Temane, Inhambane province. Applications are submitted directly on Sasol's official careers portal — the link is below — and the deadline is 16 September 2026.
Sasol has a 70-year history and operates in the global chemicals and energy market, with teams working from origin through to product marketing. The company invests in employees at all career stages and fosters a culture that embraces diversity and inclusion, placing people at the centre of its decisions.
In Mozambique, this role belongs to ROAS (Regional Operations and Asset Services), the unit that provides engineering support to upstream operations and development assets. It is a project engineering and technical facility support role, directly linked to the Mozambique Gas Projects (MGP) programme.
Your main mission is to manage and deliver engineering projects supporting facilities, studies, and technical support provided to operations. In practice, this means:
You will work in an integrated team, using MGP programme resources for construction, commissioning, specific disciplines, cost control, and project management. On smaller onshore projects (Tier 4 and 5), you lead all phases with execution support from MGP; on major projects (Tier 1 to 3), definition and execution phases are handled by MGP.
Your work connects expertise from various engineering and consultancy firms, liaising with upstream technical disciplines — from exploration to wells and drilling. It is a role for someone who enjoys seeing a project grow from initial study to an operational facility.
Applications are submitted exclusively through Sasol's official careers portal: official Facilities Engineer II vacancy page. The deadline is 16 September 2026 — do not leave it until the last day, as the portal may require prior registration and internet connections can be unstable in rural areas.
Sasol's portal is in English. Take your equipa filling in the form, double-check your details, and keep proof of submission.
