The essentials: Head of Support Services (Financial Director) at Nitidæ, Maputo. 1-year renewable contract, with start expected in early November 2026. Applications open until 15 December 2026 — send your CV and cover letter in English, with the subject line «HSS – MOZ», to jobs@nitidae.org.
Nitidæ is a French non-governmental organization that designs, develops and implements projects combining environmental preservation with the strengthening of local economies in rural areas. It works in forest conservation, agricultural value chains and improving the energy efficiency of processing activities.
The organization currently manages around 30 projects in countries including Mozambique, Madagascar, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Cameroon, Tanzania and Uganda, with more than 200 staff members. Its 2025 budget was €10.2 million and continues to grow.
In Mozambique since 2013, Nitidæ is in a significant expansion phase. The in-country team of 40 staff will grow to 50 by the end of 2026 and to around 60 in 2027. It is currently implementing four projects funded by AFD (France), LED/Linsi, the European Union and a consortium led by TechnoServe:
You will be the main point of contact between the support team in Mozambique and headquarters in France, in a technical and functional capacity. This is a structuring role: the current support team is 7 people (3 in Maputo, 4 at project sites in Zambézia and Nampula) and the organization is growing from 40 to 60 staff in 2 years.
You will build the tools, procedures and support teams that make this growth possible. This is not a maintenance role — it is a role with direct impact on the execution capacity of projects on the ground.
Send your CV and cover letter in English (mandatory) to jobs@nitidae.org, with the subject «HSS – MOZ». Incomplete applications will not be considered. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a technical test and interview. If you do not receive a response within three weeks after the deadline, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
Deadline: 15 December 2026.
