Cimentos de Moçambique is looking for a Logistics Operations Supervisor for its Matola operation in Maputo province. The full-time role sits within the Logistics and Operations department, directing the daily movement that takes factory output to the customer: fleet, routes, deliveries, and the team making it all happen.
It is one of two positions opened simultaneously by the company — the other, in Internal Control, is also published on the website. CVs for both go to the same inbox, so the email subject line determines which review yours goes to.
Someone who likes seeing an operation move — and knows that between the right load, the right route, and on-time delivery, there are always details to decide. You have led distribution teams, know the routine of those spending their day on the road, and stay on track when the day changes course: a broken-down lorry, an early delivery, or a cost spike needing a swift response.
You also know how to read figures. Your focus goes from trip costs to weekly deadlines, turning those insights into practical decisions — maintain, adjust, or change. This mix of hands-on leadership and cost awareness is what the role requires, and it is what separates a logistics team that runs from one that runs well.
The work is split across four main areas:
Above all else, one non-negotiable rule: safety. Traffic and transport standards are followed on every trip, because no delivery is worth an accident.
Three steps and you are done:
In the body of the email, two or three lines are enough: how many years of distribution experience you have, what goods you have moved, and how many people you have supervised. With the right subject line and a concise CV, your application arrives ready to be read.
Your application goes straight from your inbox to the company's inbox — their recruitment team reads the CV and decides on the next steps. Inademy covers the rest: a free profile that stores your experience ready for the next opportunity, and new job alerts delivered by email and WhatsApp — so no opening slips away because you arrived late.
⚠️ Simple rule against scams: no honest person asks you for money to move forward in a recruitment process. If anyone does so on behalf of any company, be suspicious and do not pay.
