Who we are looking for

In Chimoio, you will be the person AGL counts on to look at a list of pickups and deliveries and tell, in seconds, what takes priority and what can wait until tomorrow. You close the day with the PODs in the system and the records in order — and you give early warning the moment something risks being delayed. You will deal daily with carriers and recipients, backed by the formal processes of an international company.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Monitor the transport schedule daily, adjusting the order of pickups and deliveries when carrier availability changes;
• Be the point of contact for carriers and coordinate every sample pickup and delivery, from the initial call to final dispatch;
• Know where each shipment is at all times, tracking and monitoring sample movement from end to end;
• Keep operational documentation up to date and system records updated, ensuring no pending tasks accumulate by the end of the week;
• Close each shipment with its documentary proof of delivery — the POD (Proof of Delivery) — so that each sample's cycle ends properly recorded;
• Gather operational data — completed deliveries, lead times, occurrences — to feed into indicators and help evaluate processes;
• Promptly alert the relevant stakeholders when something goes wrong: a delay, loss, or route deviation;
• Work according to AGL rules: safety standards, code of ethics, and expected conduct during every pickup, delivery, and record entry.
