CCS JV, the consortium responsible for the engineering, procurement, and construction of the Mozambique LNG project, is recruiting a National Content Officer within the Sustainability Department, based in Afungi, Cabo Delgado.

The National Content Officer is the on-site focal point for Local Content requirements. The role exists to ensure that the project complies with Mozambique's nationalization obligations: monitoring the participation of the Mozambican workforce, overseeing the hiring of local suppliers, and ensuring that project commitments are met with evidence.

CCS JV is the consortium executing the Mozambique LNG construction work. The position is within the Sustainability Department and coordinates between the consortium, the client, and subcontractors regarding National Content.

In practical terms, the National Content team must continuously demonstrate how nationalization commitments translate into on-field results. The National Content Officer tracks, records, and documents this evidence, responding to the client and subcontractors. The pace is typical of a project: deadlines, audits, and client requests to be handled simultaneously.

Main duties in the position:

• Act as the on-site contact point between CCS JV's National Content team and the client's team;
• Support the implementation of National Content requirements and alignment with project commitments;
• Coordinate with subcontractors to collect, verify, and monitor National Content data and performance;
• Monitor workforce nationalization and the use of local suppliers;
• Conduct on-site verification of National Content activities and their respective evidence;
• Support subcontractors in understanding and complying with National Content obligations;
• Maintain records, tracking sheets, and supporting documentation;
• Prepare inputs for reports, audits, and client requests;
• Identify compliance gaps and support corrective actions;
• Promote awareness of National Content requirements among teams and subcontractors.

The profile sought: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field; and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; fluency in Portuguese and English; and strong organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of Mozambique's Local Content requirements is an advantage.

Demonstrate the ability to process data and monitor indicators in Excel, and the capability to coordinate subcontractors and the client team on-site. Mention any previous experience in audits, reporting, or indicator monitoring: show that you know how to produce the evidence the role requires.
