The essentials: QA/QC Inspector at Advanced Maritime Transports, based in Pemba (Cabo Delgado), full-time contract, applications open until 19 November 2026, via the EP Management Consultancy Services portal.
Advanced Maritime Transports is recruiting, through EP Management Consultancy Services, a QA/QC Inspector for its base in Pemba, in the northern oil and gas region of the country. The post supports production by carrying out dimensional, physical and visual control of drilling and completion tools and equipment, reporting directly to the QA/QC Supervisor/Coordinator.
Quality and safety control in a drilling operation is what separates a compliant set of tools from one with a hidden defect. In this role, the scope covers the drilling and completion tools — OCTG, BHA, casing and tubing — that undergo dimensional, physical and visual inspection before going to the field. Every thread gauge, micrometer and Brinell hardness test serves that objective.
Pemba has historically been the logistics support point for drilling and production operations in northern Mozambique. It is in this zone that drilling and completion tools are received, inspected and prepared before going to the field.
It is in this flow that the QA/QC Inspector works, together with the Supervisor/Coordinator for the area and the maintenance teams. In an inspection post, the decision to approve or reject a thread gauge is what protects the integrity of the entire drill string.
We are looking for an inspection technician with a background in Mechanical, Electronic or a related technical field, who works with the calm and precision that drilling tools demand. The right profile is someone who treats a gauge, a micrometer or an NCR as the difference between a compliant piece of equipment and a hidden defect — because in this role, that difference is exactly the job.
We value someone who handles engineering drawings, technical documentation and reports well, and who keeps the gauge room and the utilisation logs organised day after day. Discipline in recording and equipment traceability is as important as the measurement itself: a poorly filled report travels with the tool. The role is on-site, at the Pemba base.
Submit your application through the EP Management Consultancy Services portal, using reference 7d55e91a-6367-42bb-a67a-aec931f1822d, until 19 November 2026.
