The role

You report to the Livelihoods Coordinator and the Livelihoods Supervisor. The role focuses on the agricultural, fisheries, and diversified livelihoods component of the resettlement program. It is a field-based position: daily field presence is an essential part of the job.

• Monitor implementation partners (IPs) for livelihoods in the field every day and confirm that reported progress is verifiable on-site.
• Understand in detail the contractual requirements of each IP — HSE, scope of work, and reporting — and ensure compliance with these requirements.
• Verify in the field the distribution of initial agricultural packages, replacement trees, DUATs, fishing kits, and other in-kind benefits to affected households; sign delivery certificates on behalf of the project.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, mobilization, and participation in project-sponsored programs so that livelihood commitments come to fruition.
• Identify all households eligible for livelihood restoration benefits and use tracking tools to record the delivery of commitments in the household agreement and resettlement plan.
• Sign on-site, on behalf of the project, around 1,000 compensation agreements; verify the completeness of all signed agreements and archive them.
• Pay attention to safety, health, environmental, and social aspects of partners' performance, stepping in to improve their performance.
• Act as a field focal point between IPs, the project, affected households, and communities involved in agricultural, fisheries, and diversified livelihoods programs.
• Participate in meetings with the Government, communities, and households, as needed.
