The mission of the role is to ensure the management of maintenance activities for all project equipment — at the logistics base, construction yard, and facilities — through the coordination of workshop foremen. You are also responsible for equipment maintenance and repair.
On a daily basis, you supervise field equipment to ensure continuous service, managing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs. You oversee upgrade activities for assigned equipment. You maintain required stock levels of materials to ensure work continuity and order spare parts in time for planned maintenance.
You supervise and coordinate workshop foremen, ensuring work adheres to defined quality requirements and schedules. The job post also highlights compliance with safety procedures, preparation and management of the maintenance and upgrade budget, and implementation of asset maintenance procedures, identifying the best strategies to improve equipment reliability and increase asset availability.
You monitor spare parts usage and inventory, maintenance consumables, and equipment, keeping accurate records whenever required. You ensure maintenance technicians are trained, equipped, and motivated to complete the maintenance schedule on time and cost-effectively. You manage, coordinate, and evaluate the performance of assigned technicians.
