About Maxana

Maxana Holding S.A. is a company dedicated to the strategic management of equity holdings and group companies, providing financial, administrative, and operational coordination of its businesses.

It also operates in investment management and corporate support services across various sectors. It is a group structure with a presence in Maputo and other locations across the country.

For this process, recruitment is conducted by Maxana Security, the group company with its own security operations. The goal is to integrate 40 new employees into the team, reinforcing the workforce serving the group's clients in Maputo.

Headquarters address: Rua Marcelino dos Santos No. 515, Q26, Bairro Chamanculo A II, Maputo.

Who we are looking for

Someone in good physical and health condition, aged between 18 and 40, residing in Maputo city or province, with actual availability for rotating shifts — nights, weekends, and holidays.

The role requires composure and emotional control under pressure, polite yet firm communication, discretion, and quick decision-making in risk situations. This is not a desk job: it requires an active field presence, with direct responsibility for what is entrusted to you.

Maxana strongly encourages women to apply for this process. Applicants must be prepared to handle conflicts, emergencies, and regular night work.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Control the entry and exit of people, vehicles, and materials at the premises, logging who enters, who leaves, and what is moved.
• Conduct regular patrols around the premises and check doors, windows, and fences for vulnerable spots.
• Protect people, assets, and company or client property, preventing theft, damage, intrusions, and suspicious behavior — reporting them immediately.
• Log incidents in the shift logbook and hand over duties to incoming colleagues.
• Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV and alarms) when available, reporting anomalies.
• Act in emergency situations — fire, accidents, evacuations — contacting supervisors and relevant authorities.
• Comply with security procedures, work orders, and uniform guidelines set by the team.

Work is performed in Maputo and, if necessary, at other operational locations of the institution.

What the position offers

• 40 vacancies in a single process — the largest security hiring drive opened by Maxana this year.
• On-site work in Maputo, based at headquarters and the institution's operational sites.
• Rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, requiring genuine availability.
• Placement within a multi-sector group operating its own dedicated security firm.
• Physical contact point: Rua Marcelino dos Santos No. 515, Q26, Bairro Chamanculo A II.
• The position is unpaid, as indicated by the company.
