Administrative & Logistics Assistant — Fundação Ariel Glaser (Multiple Provinces)

The essentials: Fundação Ariel Glaser is recruiting 6 Administrative & Logistics Assistants (code AAL), one per province: Manica, Sofala, Tete, Zambézia, Nampula and Cabo Delgado. About the Foundation and the project

Fundação Ariel Glaser is a civil society organization with offices in Maputo, Matola and Pemba, where applications for this vacancy are received in person. The recruitment takes place within the implementation of the FADM READY Project.

The project is funded by the Government of the United States and developed in collaboration with the Armed Forces of Mozambique (FADM). The objective: more resilient and sustainable military health services in Mozambique, with institutional and operational capacities that guarantee the readiness of the armed forces' health activities.

The role fits directly into this mission: each Administrative & Logistics Assistant supports, in the field, the project teams in the province assigned to them, keeping administrative support and logistics running on a continuous basis.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for organized people, with practical experience in administrative and logistical support, who work well in multicultural teams and handle information discreetly. The role demands meeting deadlines, managing several tasks at the same time and keeping the project's files and materials in order, so that field activities run without hiccups.

If you enjoy support work on health programmes, have availability to travel between Maputo and the province of the vacancy, and value a multicultural environment, this fit makes sense for you. The Foundation especially encourages applications from women.

The focus of the role is well-executed administrative and logistical support: organization of activities, filing discipline, materials management and travel support, so that project teams can concentrate on their health mission.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• provide administrative and logistical support to the FADM READY Project teams in the assigned province;
• organize meetings, trainings, travel and workshops;
• keep the files up to date and ensure the management of project materials;
• support travel logistics between Maputo and the provinces, where applicable;
• work in coordination with the project management and with partners, in a multicultural environment.

What we offer

• Salary: to be agreed with the Foundation (the amount was not published);
• direct experience implementing a health project funded by the Government of the United States, in collaboration with the FADM.
