The Administrative Officer works at the Information Desk: the point of contact for passengers, visitors, and service users. This is where people seek guidance, inquire about flights, lodge complaints, or ask for assistance — and it is at the desk where these are addressed. Clear information, proper routing, and prompt receipt of customer feedback are the concrete results of your work.

Beyond customer service, the position covers facility verification: the condition of public areas, the cleanliness and maintenance of customer service spaces, and reporting anomalies to the competent sectors. An organized and functional desk maintains user trust — and that is the mission of this role.

What you will do

The core tasks of the position are as follows:

• Provide information to passengers, visitors, and other users regarding services and procedures.
• Announce and provide information on flight arrivals, departures, delays, cancellations, and changes in a clear, audible, and timely manner.
• Assist, guide, and direct passengers and other users according to their needs.
• Receive, register, and forward complaints, suggestions, and other customer feedback.
• Provide assistance to public and private entities visiting the facilities whenever requested.
• Support protocol services during events held at the facilities.
• Conduct surveys and other activities aimed at assessing customer and passenger satisfaction.
• Regularly check the condition and status of public areas, reporting any identified anomalies.
• Report maintenance and repair needs for damaged materials, equipment, and other facilities to the competent sectors.
• Inspect the cleanliness and maintenance conditions of buildings and public service areas.
• Monitor and coordinate, within the scope of their duties, the work of the entity responsible for cleaning services.
• Ensure the organization, good presentation, and functionality of the Information Desk.
• Log and report occurrences observed during the performance of duties.
• Perform other tasks inherent to the role as assigned.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a candidate with a general high school education (nível médio), residing in Maputo City. The profile requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, user-level computer skills, and fluency in both Portuguese and English — spoken and written.

The position also calls for a responsible and committed individual who maintains discretion and professional confidentiality, communicates easily with users, and is comfortable working shift work under pressure.
