We are looking for someone with at least two years of field experience working directly with communities, who enjoys interacting with people and adapts well to field life. Whoever joins this role becomes the face of GiveDirectly in the community: the person recipients talk to, ask questions, and seek support from.
The role requires high empathy, honesty, and integrity, because you work in a team operating with confidentiality. It also requires a willingness for outdoor life — spending hours in the field, under tough weather conditions and difficult terrain. In the field, your work focuses on maintaining the quality of GiveDirectly's field operations and protecting recipients.
In office and field administration, you contribute to quarterly and annual work plans, field productivity forecasts, onboarding of new team members, and accounting for resources entrusted to you by the organization. You will also take on office administration tasks assigned by the field station manager.
