About the organization

Cooperativa Aliança Verde is building a national platform for Mozambican natural and organic products. The idea is to centralize the brand, share infrastructure, and coordinate sales, inventory, and distribution so that producer and member brands can reach retailers, hotels, tourists, and direct sales channels nationwide.

This role stems from a concrete objective: to move the cooperative away from reliance on scattered efforts and establish a professional, transparent, and scalable sales and distribution system. You report directly to the Board of Directors and coordinate day-to-day operations with the Communications Manager, the financial and administrative support team, warehouse staff, and regional hubs.

Who we are looking for

We need someone who thinks like a sales professional: who knows how to close a difficult retailer, read a cash flow curve, and identify where business is being lost. More than an academic title, we value hands-on experience from someone who has coordinated sales in a distribution and retail environment, with regular contact with institutional buyers, points of sale, and trade fairs.

You will work in a cooperative context where trust and transparency matter just as much as commercial results. Tolerance for contradictions, problem-solving skills in the field, and respect for the organization's values are required. If you are used to operating with measurable goals, professional references, and deadline pressure, you will fit in well here.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Coordinate the cooperative's commercial and sales strategy, in line with annual goals defined by the Board
• Manage relationships with retailers, distributors, and institutional buyers
• Supervise daily sales operations across retail partners, direct channels, events, and regional hubs
• Monitor inventory, restock, and track availability by brand, channel, and region
• Prepare and check invoices, and support reconciliation with the finance team
• Supervise promotions, product demonstrations, trade fairs, and tasting campaigns
• Support the implementation of CRM, inventory, and ERP systems to increase business visibility
