In Mozambique, CRS carries out its activities in partnership with local actors. This Human Resources position supports the coordination and execution of the HR strategy and operational plans of the CRS country program, in support of high-quality programs for poor and vulnerable populations.

What you will do day-to-day

As a Human Resources Officer, you will provide quality HR service close to the teams across all areas of the department. Specifically, you will:

• Support the HR Manager in the overall management of the country's HR programs and services, from talent acquisition to people development.
• Coordinate HR processes — recruitment and selection, performance management, labor relations, compensation and benefits, onboarding of new employees, policies, and personnel administration — ensuring they comply with the latest requirements of agencies, donors, and local law.
• Assess the department's service needs and provide support and advice to managers in the daily management of their teams.
• Gather and organize input on HR processes and policies, and participate in the review and updating of systems, manuals, guidelines, and tools.
• Support the assessment of professional development needs and ensure the delivery of accurate training programs for CRS staff and partners.
• Maintain personnel records — employee files and/or Human Resources Information System (HRIS) — in compliance with CRS, donor, and local law regulations, and produce analytical reports on HR data, metrics, and trends to support management decisions and people planning.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in Human Resources, comfortable with personnel administration processes and able to deal with people at all levels of the organization.

The profile combines document rigor, confidentiality regarding employee data, and a service orientation: you will handle personnel data and support managers in day-to-day situations, always with quality.

The role requires availability for travel up to 25% of the time and does not involve direct team supervision responsibilities.
