Who we are looking for

You will work directly with gemstones: identifying, grading, and ensuring the quality of each stone throughout the process.

For the Gem Classifiers Manager position, we are looking for someone who, in addition to technical expertise, knows how to coordinate a team. This person ensures that all classifiers follow the same criteria and that quality logging is done in real time, with no margin for error.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Grade and evaluate gemstones according to technical criteria, including color, clarity, cut, and weight;
• Identify precious stones and lower-value stones (so-called semi-precious stones) as they arrive at the operations;
• Record and monitor gemstone quality to maintain traceability for each batch;
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in stone handling;
• For the Gem Classifiers Manager position: coordinate and manage the classifier team's activities, ensure training in grading methods, and report classification results to company management.
