The essential: The Provincial Health Service of Nampula (SPS) opens a public tender to fill 230 positions for General Medicine Technicians, in addition to vacancies in other health careers. Document submission is in person and the deadline ends on October 30, 2026.
The notice is based on the dispatch of September 24, 2026, from the Secretary of State in Nampula Province. A public hiring tender is hereby open, for a period of thirty days, to fill vacancies in several special regime, differentiated, and non-differentiated careers in the health field.
Among these, 230 positions are for the General Medicine Technician career, to be placed in the District Services for Health, Women and Social Action across all districts of the province, under the Provincial Health Service (SPS) of Nampula.
The tender is opened under the General Statute of State Civil Servants and Agents, approved by Law No. 4/2022 of February 11, combined with the Regulation of Entry and Promotion Tenders in Public Administration, approved by Ministerial Diploma No. 61/2000 of July 5. Selection follows the criteria defined in Resolution No. 24/2021 of July 14.
The recruitment process has four phases: document evaluation, written exam, practical exam, and professional interview. Candidates not selected in a phase may be considered for remaining vacancies within the validity period of the tender.
The written exams cover the following subjects: Law No. 1/2018 (punctual revision of the Constitution), Law No. 7/2019 with Decree No. 63/2020 (legal framework for State Representation Bodies in the Province), and Law No. 4/2022 with Decree No. 32/2023 (General Statute of State Civil Servants and Agents).
They also include Decree No. 30/2001 (operation of Public Administration), Law No. 10/2026 (punctual revision of the Statute), specific subject matter of the required qualifications, and general knowledge.
Application is in person: documents must be delivered to the headquarters of the Provincial Health Service of Nampula, in the Human Resources Department, during normal business hours, by the last day of the set deadline. There is no portal or application email — in-person submission is the only channel. Complete requirements and the dossier to prepare are in the requirements section.
Assemble your dossier in advance and confirm the working hours of the Human Resources Department of the SPS of Nampula before traveling. The application form must have a notarized signature, and some documents require authentication. Confirm if you already have your NUIT issued; without it, the application will not be accepted.
